1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Little Steps Behavioural Services ("Little Steps," "we," "us," or "our") at thelittlesteps.ca (the "Website"). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. About the Website

The Website provides general information about Little Steps and the services we offer, including ABA therapy, parent coaching, group classes, in-school support, and seasonal programs. It also lets you contact us to ask questions or request a consultation. The Website is intended for use by parents, guardians, and other adults.

The content on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not behavioural, medical, psychological, or other professional advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your child and your situation.

Using the Website, reading our content, or submitting a form does not create a therapist-client, clinician-client, or other professional relationship between you and Little Steps. A professional relationship begins only if and when we and your family enter into a separate written service agreement.

If you have concerns about your child's health or development, please consult a qualified professional. If you believe there is an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

4. Contacting us and requesting a consultation

When you submit a contact or inquiry form, you are asking us to get in touch — you are not booking, purchasing, or being guaranteed any service. We may follow up to learn more about your needs, and we decide whether and how we are able to help. Any services we provide are subject to a separate agreement, and to availability, suitability, and our professional judgment.

You agree that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the authority to provide information about any child you mention.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes, and not to:

  • Use it in any way that breaches applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Website, its security, or its servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website or related systems
  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or collect content or data without our permission
  • Submit false, misleading, abusive, or harmful content through any form
  • Use the Website or its content to compete with us, or for any commercial purpose, without our written consent

6. Intellectual property

The Website and its content — including text, graphics, logos, images, page design, and the "Little Steps" name and branding — are owned by Little Steps Behavioural Services or used under license, and are protected by intellectual property laws.
